EMET Completed Testing And Delivery Of 20T Explosion-Proof Chain Electric Hoist

This 20T Explosion-Proof Electric Chain Hoist is equipped with an EX explosion-proof mark, a pulley, and can operate on an I-shaped track. Composed of 8 sets of chains, equipped with two 3.0KW motors, operating at a speed of 10/20 (m/Min), the maximum lifting height can reach 6 meters, which means the chain length is 6 meters.

This explosion-proof ring chain electric hoist is a explosion-proof light and small lifting equipment specifically designed for flammable and explosive environments. It is suitable for non mining areas in coal mines and Class IIA, IIB, and IIC combustible gas locations, with a working temperature typically between -25 ℃ and 40 ℃. The core components adopt an independent explosion-proof structure, and the exposed parts use non sparking materials, which have passed the explosion-proof electrical product testing of the Ministry of Machinery Industry.

 

 

 

Three major technical barriers to explosion-proof design

Motor Casing

The motor casing needs to adopt an explosion-proof structure, which ensures that internal electric sparks do not ignite external explosive gases through thickened steel plates and precision welding processes.

Conductive Components

Conductive components need to undergo electrostatic discharge treatment to avoid the accumulation of charges and the generation of electric sparks.

Brakes and Limiters

Key components such as brakes and limiters need to use non sparking materials, such as copper based alloys, instead of traditional steel, to eliminate the risk of friction sparks from the source.

 

To manufacture qualified explosion-proof chain electric hoists, multiple technical difficulties need to be overcome.These technical requirements are much higher than ordinary electric hoists, testing the precision machining capabilities of enterprises.

Material research and development capability: Explosion proof equipment requires the use of special alloys and composite materials, and EMET has the ability to analyze material composition and control heat treatment processes. For example, the chain link needs to be treated with carburizing and quenching to improve surface hardness while maintaining toughness, preventing safety accidents caused by fracture.

2. Precision manufacturing process: From gear meshing accuracy to housing sealing, every detail is related to explosion-proof performance. EMET uses CNC machining centers and laser welding technology to control part errors within 0.01 millimeters, ensuring stable operation of the equipment in extreme environments.

3. Safety certification system: Products must pass explosion-proof level certifications such as Ex d IIB T4, and EMET establishes a full process quality control system covering design, production, and testing. For example, each device needs to undergo 48 hours of continuous load testing and air tightness testing before leaving the factory to ensure that everything is foolproof.
